Welcome to https://KIMKINI.store. By using this site, you agree to be legally bound by all the terms and conditions contained in this Terms of Usage Agreement (“Agreement”). Please read these terms carefully. By using this site, you represent that you are at least 16 years old. If you are under the age of 18, you must let your parent or guardian know about KIMKINI's privacy policy before you use this site or any of the site’s services. We reserve the right to only accept orders from those over 18.

When you use any of our services, you are subject to the policies, terms and conditions applicable to that service.

We reserve the right to change the information on https://KIMKINI.store and the terms and conditions at any time.

https://KIMKINI.store will NOT deal or provide any services or products to any of OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control) sanctions countries in accordance with the law of United Arab Emirates.

Any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with this website shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates as the UAE is our country of domicile.

Privacy Policy

Privacy matters. KIMKINI takes appropriate steps to ensure data privacy and security including through various hardware and software methodologies. However, https://KIMKINI.store cannot guarantee the security of any information that is disclosed online.

When using our customer information (email address, phone number, and billing and/or shipping address) we will use for the following purposes only:

We use your email address to help you create, manage, and maintain an account on our Services, and to send you information about products, promotions, surveys, news, and events that we think may interest you;
We use your billing and shipping address to process and deliver purchases, returns, backorders, etc.; and/or
We use your email address and phone number to send you security alerts, shipping notifications, and other administrative messages and to provide customer support.

Also, we may share information about you in response to a request for information if we believe disclosure is in accordance with, or required by, any applicable law, regulation, or legal process.

KIMKINI will not pass any debit/credit card details to third parties.

All credit/debit cards’ details and personally identifiable information will NOT be stored, sold, shared, rented or leased to any third parties. If you make a payment for our products or services on our website, the details you are asked to submit will be provided directly to our payment provider via a secured connection.

KIMKINI is not responsible for the privacy policies of websites to which it links. If you provide any information to such third parties different rules regarding the collection and use of your personal information may apply. You should contact these entities directly if you have any questions about their use of the information that they collect.

Orders

Any items in your shopping basket are not reserved, and may be purchased by other customers.

Once confirming and accepting your purchase, we will send you a confirmation email with an order reference number. Multiple transactions may result in multiple postings to the cardholder’s monthly statement.

Please allow up to 1 week for us to cut, sew and package your handmade to order swimwear.

Returns & Exchanges

You have the right to cancel your order within 12 hours without giving any reason.

The cancellation period will expire after 12 hours from when you placed your online order. To exercise your right to cancel, you must inform us within 12 hours by emailing kim@kimkini.com and referencing your order number.

If you prefer to exchange your goods for another size within 12 hours of your initial order, please immediately notify Kim at kim@kimkini.com for the necessary changes to your original order.

Our swimwear is handmade to order for every unique customer so after receiving your order, returns, exchanges and refunds are not a viable option due to the unique nature of the product and for hygiene reasons. There is a detailed size chart on the 'general size guide' located on the main menu, as well as product photos for guidance and the availability of speaking to Kim (via instagram direct message @kimkini or email kim@kimkini.com) to make sure your purchase is fully accurate. Specific swimsuit customisations are available, please state any custom requests such as back coverage (e.g. full back coverage) on the ‘order notes’ at web checkout. Therefore refunds, exchanges and returns are not permitted.

In the event that we have sent goods to you and you have cancelled your order within the initial 12 hour allowance order window, we may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or you have supplied evidence of having sent the goods back. You will have to bear the cost of returning the goods.

Errors

In the event of an error on our website (e.g. a product listed incorrectly) due to a typographical error or other mistake, we reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order that may have been placed under such a product listed. Of course, if you have been charged already for such an erroneous purchase, then we shall refund you the full amount.

In the unlikely event that you have received an incorrect product/order, we will either refund you OR send you the correct products free of charge.

Shipping Policy

You will own the goods on and from the later of the point in time when: we receive payment in full, or we deliver the goods to you. The goods are your responsibility from the time the items are delivered to the shipping address you gave us - please note that DHL Express and Skynet do not deliver to PO boxes.

Please note we aim to dispatch our handmade to order swimwear within a week of receiving your order due to high demand. Every swimsuit is handmade to order, and will take one week for us to cut, sew and package your order. Kimkini is not responsible for any delays caused by destination customs clearance processes.

Tracking information for both domestic and international deliveries will be sent to the email you provided in your order once your swimwear is finished. For UAE orders it is 'next day delivery' with Skynet once the order is complete. For international shipments, DHL Express delivers approximately 3-5 days once the order is complete.

Kimkini is not responsible in the highly unlikely event that a package may be lost in transit by DHL or Skynet.

About us

Founded by Kimberley Champlin, KIMKINI is a sustainable luxe swimwear brand based in Dubai.

KIMKINI, featured in British Vogue, has a totally unique process which sets us apart from every other swimwear brand out there. Everything is done in our Dubai design studio from creating our unique fabrics, sewing the swimwear to order and packing the orders in our reusable cotton drawstring bags.

Our custom swimwear material is printed on RecoTex fabric. The yarn in this material is made from 100% recycled ocean waste such as discarded fishnets and plastic bottles.

The bikinis are all reversible which means you can turn your swimsuit inside out and have a whole other bikini to wear. TWO for the price of ONE! You can even pick your own style of bikini top and bikini bottom to create your own gorgeous and unique bikini set.
